ONxpress

My Role

ONxpress is. $13B infrastructure project to electrify Ontario's GO line.  It is a joint venture of 6 partner companies, Aecon, FCC (Spain), Deustche Bahn (Germany), Alstom (France), Hatch and WSP.  I worked as a L&D specialist on the project leadership layer that integrates the various legs of the project on behalf of Metrolinx (the government client)

Key Responsibilities

LMS Admin

Was the main LMS admin, responsible for deploying and managing all instructional functions, feedback mechanisms, training effectiveness, and reporting

Instructional Designer

Designed, developed and deployed over 12 courses including E-Learning, across HR compliance, Health and Safety, Technical Training, and Executive Leadership.

Policy and Governance

Developed the standard operating procedure for developing training, including tools for proposals, needs analysis, learning objectives, action mapping and training effectiveness.

Accomplishments

Collaborated with CHRO and global executive stakeholders to develop a comprehensive SOP defining processes for proposing, designing, deploying, and evaluating the effectiveness of training.

Led comprehensive training initiatives on Enablon for quality, health, safety, and environmental stakeholders.


Ensured compliance with government regulations, legal agreements and international standards, across HR, Health and Safety, Environmental, Cybersecurity and Quality Management, successfully passing ISO9001 and SOC audits.


Led a strategic overhaul of HRIS and LMS systems, resulting in annual savings of over $200K.


Designed, developed and deployed onboarding e-learning programs with 5 star reviews, working with stakeholders across the partner organizations.

Designed C-level executive leadership development programs, increasing employee engagement by 15%.


Designed, developed and deployed cross-cultural awareness training to assist a globally diverse team in communicating more effectively.
